Who We Are
The Rockland Paramedic Services Benevolent Association (PBA) was created to provide financial assistance to EMS professionals facing unexpected hardships. Born out of necessity when a fellow paramedic passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind three young children, we continue to stand by those who dedicate their lives to helping others.
How We Help
Since our founding, we have provided hundreds of thousands of dollars in assistance to EMS professionals experiencing medical crises, family emergencies, and other unforeseen challenges. Our support is confidential, ensuring dignity and discretion for those in need.
How You Can Support the RPS PBA
Employee Contributions
The largest source of funding comes from pre-tax payroll deductions from participating employees. Contributing is simple:
- Sign up for automatic deductions of as little as $5 per pay period.
- Small contributions add up to make a huge impact when many participate.
Community & Business Donations
Local businesses and community members also play a vital role in supporting the fund. Tax-deductable contributions, whether through direct donations or participation in fundraising events, help us continue our mission.
Why You Don't Hear About Us More Often
We respect the privacy of those we help, which is why our support is provided discreetly. But rest assured—your contributions make a real difference for your colleagues when they need it most.
Are You Contributing?
If you already donate — thank you! Your generosity has changed lives.
Consider increasing your contribution to further our impact.
If you haven't joined yet, now is the perfect time. With a little as $5 per pay period, you can be part of a group that supports our EMS family when it matters most.
